Tomahawk II is a Dragon Class sloop with a storied history. Built in 1967 by the famous Borressen Boatyard in Denmark, her pedigree covers two continents. Having raced in North America she returned to Europe in 1972. She competed under the leadership of Allen Leibel and his Canadian crew at the 1972 Olympic Games in Kiel Germany. After years of changing hands, she was purchased by her current owner, and lovingly restored by Bruckmann Yachts in Oakville Ontario. More of a re-building project than a re-fit Tomahawk ll's deck and hull were stripped to frames and reconstructed to a very high standard. Her mast was refitted by Klacko, and has new sails by Evolution (2015). Her cockpit and running rigging was modified to be sailed single-handed. Tomahawk II is a floating vision of history and craftsmanship
